| | It has been brought to my attention that I got married really fast. It's a good thing too, because my little baby is just so cute! AHHHH jk, really. Anyway, Will and I were talking last night about our lives together and how very strange it is that we didn't used to know each other. It's only been two years and it feels like two centuries (no offense? lol). It all started when I was 15 and these new people started sitting directly in front of us or directly behind us in church. All I knew is that the two sisters had perfect hair, makeup, bodies, and clothes. That was a little irritating. There was one (1) baby named Karissa. There was a cute brother, but he was old. ONE TIME we shook hands during the greeting and it was weird. The mom once asked me how old I was, and was pretty disappointed with my answer. From then on I stared at the sisters and wished I could look like them. A couple years later, Tammy kicked me out of toddlers and down to Frogs where I belonged. Rather, where my future mother-in-law "requested" me. Unbeknownst to me, she had been casually suggesting my name to her son who in turn said, "Mom, please stop being disgusting - she is a child." As the years went on, I dated someone else that God felt was better suited to be my realtor. Who knows what this other guy was doing, besides watching his sisters repopulate the earth. We really have Jolie to blame for this, I suppose. Sam might think she could be blamed too, but anyway. I distinctly remember being at the UT planetarium with that funny little astronomy (or was it astrology?) class I took with Abbey. Jolie had casually made some comments to William (I guess that was his name) and contrary to popular belief, he DID in fact know who I was! Shocking, really, after four years at the same church. One Sunday, I was sitting with Sam and William was right in front of us. We were tittering about some kind of joke that he also found humorous. After the sermon, as Sam was chatting away with MY MAN, he thought it would be a good idea to invite her onto his boat. HER. Everyone loves Sam. Finally he started texting me. On our first date, his sisters had 6 kids between them. On our two year anniversary, there will be 11. I really feel like 5 kids in two years is somehow impossible, but with the Mowerys all things are possible. I LOVE MY MUFFIN! |
